2010 OpenSAF Milestones
The OpenSAF community reports the following key milestones in 2010:
2011 Roadmap
OpenSAF is an evolving platform that responds to the high availability and mission critical communities. Building on the momentum of OpenSAF 4.0, the next release will contain features such as Python APIs, further Java integration and general usability, overload, and performance enhancements. Visit the OpenSAF project site and view the roadmap for more details.
OpenSAF also plans to educate developers about best practices for implementing its project architecture into diverse platforms. It will share how implementing OpenSAF solutions can deliver ROI and time-to-market benefits for equipment manufacturers of all types.
2011 OpenSAF Conference
The 2011 OpenSAF Conference (formerly Developer Days) is a conference for the open source, mission critical, and HA middleware communities. This year’s event will expand beyond developers to include users, adopters, and academics interested in a general overview of the OpenSAF Project architecture, features, and code base. Additional sessions will focus on developers seeking detailed and practical exposure to the OpenSAF code and the development of OpenSAF-based highly available applications.
